Our Gourmet dessert gift basket company was founded in 1992 by Jeryl Kronish. Jeryl's Jems is based upon family recipes handed down from mother to daughter over several generations. Each generation has put their own stamp upon these recipes, improving, refining and perfecting them until today, they stand alone, as absolute Jems in the world of gourmet desserts.

The road to Jeryl's Jems, for Jeryl, began in 1981, when she won the Great Apple Pie Bake-off, in New York, and spoon fed Mayor Ed Koch the winning pie!

Shortly thereafter, Jeryl began a small gourmet baking business, catering to specialty shops and distributors. After years of hard work and patience, that business has grown to become Jeryl's Jems and now you have a chance to find true treasures.
